I have a mini list of presents to buy the kids in the family and as I sat looking at it I noticed how 'things' have changed. Nearly all the presents will be electronic this year.
I remember a time when a good old fashioned board game was opened and played after dinner and the family would join in and have 'fun' .... am I missing somethig?
I had a great aunt who remembers getting an orange one year and being thrilled!

Can you believe i'm still trying to settle in. I'm currently washing all my net curtains as they were filthy with nicotine .. yuk, maybe I should pack up smoking.
Net curtains ... is that not a terrible invention, I mean they hardly keep in the heat that's why we have full drape curtains, they are hardly a windbreak, again a job for the drapes ... to stop flies? naaa, you tell me a house that has 'nets' and doesn't have flies. A truly terrible concept and waste of money ... oh they do look pretty thou!
